Donald Rumsfeld said this and it made me laugh... it sounds ridiculous but if you follow it makes perfect sense...
"As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know."

That quote took me a few times to read it before I started to understand it. I agree with it in the way that people do not know everything and there are so many unknowns in the world that how do we know what we know. I think it can tie into what we talked about last week and the issue of what we read influences us greatly. How do we know what we read is real? That relates to the quote. How do we know what we know and the unknown. Are they real?
